Gold, silver and platinum declined Wednesday in a subdued session, struck by a round of month-end profit-taking.
Gold didn’t get above important levels and traders and stale bulls sold. If gold goes below the $635 to $640 level it could head back to the $600-an-ounce level. The decline back to $600 is not very likely to occur, bearing in mind the strong performance of mining stocks.
